A corset is a garment designed to shape the torso into a beautiful hourglass figure enhancing the natural feminine curves of the wearer’s body. A well-made authentic corset can reduce the waist size 2-4 inches and plus sized corsets can reduce the waist size up to 6”. Each authentic corset by ROISSY Intimates is crafted to rigorous quality standards by an experienced corset maker known as a corsetiere.
Authentic Corsets vs. Costume Corsets
Authentic corsets provided by ROISSY Intimates are completely different from mass-produced corsets, sometimes called “costume corsets.” ROISSY Intimates carries both since the two serve distinctly different purposes at very different price levels. Authentic corsets are fashioned with superior construction and includes a traditional busk front closure made of steel loops and steel posts (similar to hook and eye fastenings), three fabric layers (that includes the decorative outer layer, an inner lining which holds the boning and the outer lining for a neat interior finish), and a modesty panel (to prevent skin peeking through behind the back lacing). All our laces are made of durable nylon woven cording with finished ends. Quality is of paramount importance and every corset is made in their Portsmouth, UK factory by very experienced staff, and undergoes a rigorous inspection process to ensure customers receive the high quality garment they have ordered. Plus Sized Corsets
Most of our standard styles are available in a range of sizes including plus sized corsets which are made to fit a natural waist up to 44 inches and cup sized through DD. Custom corsets are available for a natural waist up to 54 inches and cup sizes through J. Our personal corset fitting specialists are available to make recommendations and help you order the right corset to provide the most comfortable fit and style.
Personal - Private Fittings
We provide, at no charge, an elegant private space in our Greenland, NH. showroom for a 60 minute, private and personal corset fitting. Your special someone will be fitted for the perfect Vollers corset which never fails to produce a flattering hourglass figure.
After completing a purchase, our London based, Vollers corsetiere will make the custom corset and deliver it to our showroom within 2-4 weeks. The corset will be elegantly boxed and gift-wrapped for you. Arrangements can be made for pick-up or delivery (free of charge anywhere in the United States).
